Sea Fishing On Merthyr Mawr Beach: I Don't Mind The Walk!

Merthyr Mawr Beach Fishing near Porthcawl in Bridgend. It's part of the Merthyr Mawr Sand Dunes and is one of my favourite Bristol Channel Fishing marks. It adjoins Newton Beach, which is another South Wales Sea Fishing Beach that I absolutely love! I have been fishing here for many years and I have many great memories. Even if I don't go fishing, this place makes for a pleasant walk, I often walk right up to the mouth of the River Ogmore, usually when I'm having a little break down in Trecco Bay!
