#thameslink #class700 #londontrains On 20th January 2024, I trainspotted at London Blackfriars. London Blackfriars in a railway station in Central London that serves Thameslink, Southeastern, Victoria Line, Circle Line and District Line trains. Victoria, Circle and District Line trains are London Underground. Thameslink and Southeastern trains are national rail. The station has 4 platforms on the national rail section. There were no Southeastern services to London Blackfriars that day; they only went to other Southeastern London terminus stations. Southeastern has a limited service to London Blackfriars. So that means there are only Thameslink trains in this video. I did not record any London Underground trains. Not all Thameslink routes were operating but there was still an excellent amount of frequency of trains. London Blackfriars is a very well maintained railway station. It is super clean and it has a modern design. It even makes it a lot more interesting because the national rail part of the station is over the River Thames in London. When you look at the window at the train platforms, it is a nice view and you can see all the buildings in the area, plus the River Thames. In my opinion, I think that London Blackfriars is a good place to spot trains. I think that because of the great frequency of trains, the station design and the nice view in the background.
