This should cover the gas and the diesel tdi engines as well. It should help you with all the models from late 2005 to 2010. It is not very complicated to remove the drive shaft / cx axle on a VW Jetta or Golf. They are actually easier than most vehicles the way they are designed. We demonstrated on a 2006 VW Jetta 1.9 TDI but we have a VW Jetta 2.5 and Golf Rabbit 2.5 and it looks the same.
