While Sermon 5 is rich in symbolism, I attempt to grasp the essence Jung is pointing us towards. While it is invisible, psychic energy has a force outside EGO awareness which influences the subject. This force is split into sexuality and spirituality, relating to opposing masculine and feminine energies within all.
