RC Airwolf - Retractable Side Gun Assembly

A short video explaining the basic mechanism for constructing working retractable machine guns on a 600 size RC Airwolf. 5mm, 4mm, 3mm brass phenolic tubes are used for the main cannon whilst the dual machine guns are constructed out of 3mm brass tube with 2mm carbon fibre rod inserts. Activation of the gun assembly is by a push-pull 1.5mm braided steel cable which runs within the rubes and into the nacelle where a servo will be placed. Dual 4mm copper tubes are glued into the gun pod which will run within 5mm brass tubes mounted inside the nacelle to provide the sideways 'open and close' mechanism driven by a separate servo.
