I filmed some of the cars present and the atmosphere at the meeting – a perfect place for any automotive enthusiast. A little history about MG: The MG brand comes from Morris Garages and was founded in 1924 in Oxford, UK. The brand became famous for its affordable sports cars, especially the classic British roadsters that made history in motorsport and European car culture. Cecil Kimber, one of the key people behind the brand, started by modifying Morris models and created the first MG sports cars. Over time, MG went through several changes of ownership, and after the bankruptcy of the MG Rover group in 2005, the brand was taken over by the Chinese company SAIC Motor, which today produces the modern MG models sold all over the world.
