Borders closed, plans collapsed, and we were stuck — me in Pretoria, him in Durban — counting days like Romeo and Juliet with bad Wi-Fi. But when God writes your love story, even a pandemic can’t delete it! 🙌 Just as hope was fading, the lockdown rules miraculously shifted, allowing weddings of under 15 people. Guess who jumped at the chance? Two impatient hearts who couldn’t wait any longer to start their Psychologically Engineered Love Story! 🧠❤️ From there, it was pure creative chaos! My husband-to-be turned into a one-man wedding planner, carpenter, and logistics manager — he dragged home a tree trunk for a cake stand, converted a wheelbarrow into a cooler box, and probably skipped his bath in the process (love covers a multitude of smells 😅). The theme? Rustic backyard magic — thanks to our incredible pastors who turned their yard into a slice of heaven. What COVID meant for disaster, God turned into a miracle wedding on a budget! 💒 No 300-guest stampede, no fancy hall — just love, laughter, and a handful of witnesses who got front-row seats to history.
