Ram kills Tarka rakshasi at Sri Shraddha Ramlila in Faridabad, Haryana, India. Ramlila, India’s most famous theatrical experience. Ramlila is the enactment of the story of Lord Rama. In Ramlila the life of Rama is shown in the form of a series of plays. This story of Rama’s life is enacted to mark his victory over Ravana and his return to his kingdom. The complete life story of Rama is covered in ten days. The 10th day is celebrated as Dussehra (Vijaya Dashami) – the day of victory when Rama defeats the Demon King Ravana. Shri Shraddha Ramlila established In 2008 and in very short span of time it has achieved the recognition as favorite Ramlila Manchan in Faridabad. Since its inception the committee has been organizing Ramlila Manchan in Sec 15 Community Center Park Faridabad. The Committee is being governed by the Office Bearers, Elected out of Dignitaries, Social Workers, Prominent Citizens, Businessmen and other learned personalities. None of the Team Members , Artists & Pattents are commercially associated and only work as ‘Sewa Bhawna’ with the committee. Shri Shraddha Ramlila has achieved the recognition of best Ramlila in Faridabad and conferred with an award by Nav Bharat Times in year 2009, followed by Best Ravana Award in the very same year .Since then the artists and the committee has always been among receiving awards and appreciations. The artists who perform are professional singers as well. Shri Shraddha Ramlila were the first in Faridabad to introduce Female Artist to portray Female characters . The script owes its origin to the ancestors of the Shri Shraddha Ramlila Group, who migrated from what is now Pakistan to India, and brought along with them the warmth and simplicity of Urdu couplets. The Shraddha Ramlila group has hit upon the idea of punching in Urdu couplets with Hindi dialogues to narrate the great Indian epic, Ramlila ‘Natakas’ are narrated from the books of famous authors Mr Yashawant Singh and Mr Radheshyam and Chopai’s from ‘Goswami Tulsidas’ holy book ‘Ramayana’.The ‘Natakas’ are ‘Directed ‘ by Mr.Anil Chawla and ‘Art Direction’ is done by MR.
