Middle Gate Trail at 50 Year Trail System in Tucson, Arizona is a fun black mountain bike trail in the 50 Year Trail System with desert singletrack, granite slabs, technical chutes, flat drops, cactus-lined sections, and a tough 130-degree rock corner. This MTB trail preview gives you a POV look at about 2 miles of Middle Gate Trail starting near 50 Year Slabs. The trail has 400 feet of climbing and 460 feet of descending, with a good mix of downhill sections, technical rock moves, tight spots, and a few punchy climbs.
