Kayak fishing Bonville creek using soft plastics and live mullet. Who doesn't like catching flathead? Great fun with live poddy mullet, plastics or hard body lures on the shallow sand flats or the deeper hole drop offs around the flats. Flathead are easy to catch on most methods, great target species if you are new to soft plastic fishing. Just remember to release the big ones, 70cm and above, as they are the breeding females and very important in the future of flathead fishing.
