I spent a few cozy winter days here in the hills baking holiday cookies, walking the dogs between batches, and sharing one slow day in the kitchen with my mom. This week has been filled with mixing dough, quiet moments at home, and baking Feenküsse (fairy kisses) for the very first time. It´s been so nice that my mom came by to help with one of the trickier recipes. These moments reminded me that simple things, like good company and the smell of something warm in the oven, are enough.
