Scandinavie Ep :10 - Entre Brume Mystique, Glaciers et Routes Vertigineuses ! 🇳🇴
Norway isn't always easy to tame... but that's where the magic happens! 🚐💨 In this episode, we leave the fjords behind to tackle the famous Gaularfjellet scenic route. Between capricious weather that obscured the renowned Utsikten viewpoint and miraculous clearings at the waterfalls, this journey was a feast for the eyes (and sometimes a sea of mist!). On the agenda for this leg of the journey, rich in contrasts: 📚 Fjærland: The surprising "book village" and its fascinating struggle to stay alive. ❄️ Face-to-face with the Glaciers: A spectacular detour to the foot of the ice giants of Vestland. 🏘️ Lærdal: A journey back in time amidst 150 historic wooden houses. 🐉 Borgund Church: The jewel of the "Stavkirke" (village churches), where Viking dragons meet Christian faith. 🏔️ Aurlandsfjellet (The Snow Road): A wild climb to a lunar landscape, far from the hustle and bustle of the world's longest road tunnel. 🏗️ Stegastein: 650 meters of sheer drop below... guaranteed thrills! ⚠️ Note to Vanlifers/Motorhome Owners: We're also sharing the realities on the ground: the difficulty of passing other vehicles on narrow roads and the sometimes challenging reception for motorhomes in certain areas like Aurland. Norway is sublime, but it's worth the effort! 🔗 Useful Links: My previous video (On the Road to Giants and Dragons): • Scandinavie Ep: 9 - Sur la route des GÉANT...
