As of April 2026, Construction of CP 205 Reached 44.06 Percent, Targeting 55 Percent by End of 2026 The development of Phase 2A of the North-South line between Bundaran HI and Kota continues to show significant progress. As of April 2026, construction had reached 59.76 percent of the target of 58.76 percent. PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) targets completion of segment one between Bundaran HI and Monas by the end of 2027 and segment two, extending to Kota, by the end of 2029. Several construction milestones have been achieved, such as the connection of the rails of Phases 1 and 2A of the North-South line and preparations for the installation of platform screen doors for Segment 1 of Bundaran HI and Monas. In the CP205 contract package, significant progress is demonstrated by the completion of 44.06 percent of the work, out of a target of 36.84 percent, by April 2026. This package, consisting of railway systems and track work, has completed rail welding using the flashbutt welding method and has begun the track bed casting process. Platform edge doors for the Bundaran HI-Monas segment have arrived at the Thamrin Station project area and are in preparation for installation. This stage demonstrates PT MRT Jakarta's (Perseroda) commitment to accelerating construction completion in anticipation of the target of operations reaching Monas in 2027. CP 205 is part of the MRT Jakarta Phase 2A construction contract package. This contract package includes the substation system, power distribution system, overhead contact system, signaling, telecommunications, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), track, and platform screen doors. PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) targets total construction progress to reach 65.03 percent by the end of 2026. Phase 2A of the north-south line will connect Bundaran HI Bank Jakarta Station to Kota Station, spanning approximately 5.8 kilometers and consisting of seven underground stations: Thamrin, Monas, Harmoni, Sawah Besar, Mangga Besar, Glodok, and Kota. Phase 2A is divided into two segments: segment one, Bundaran HI—Monas, targeted for completion in 2027, and segment two, Harmoni—Kota, targeted for completion in 2029. This phase was built at a cost of approximately IDR 25.3 trillion (approximately US$1.7 billion) through a cooperative loan between the Indonesian and Japanese governments. Phase 2B, which is planned to extend from Kota Station to the West Ancol Depot, is still in the feasibility study stage. Unlike phase 1, phase 2A will be built simultaneously with the development of the station area with a transit-oriented development concept. This concept of development not only prepares the Jakarta MRT station infrastructure, but also provides an area that combines transit functions with people, activities, buildings, and public spaces, optimizing access to public transportation and supporting passenger capacity. #mrtjakarta #ubahjakarta
