Castlederg: Forgotten Frontier
This abridged version of a UTV Counterpoint programme, presented by Brian Black, was filmed and first broadcast in 1990. It followed the IRa terrorist murder in Castlederg town centre of Olven Kilpatrick, and a vicious sectarian campaign waged by Irish republicans that brought death and destruction upon the local Protestant community over a 20 year period. This film tells of the loss, despondency and sense of abandonment felt by local Protestants at that time.
