Still got it? 71 year old windsurfing after 35 years
In this video I try windsurfing after years away. This channel follows my life as a 71-year-old pilot, outdoorsman, and rancher exploring what’s still possible later in life. You’ll see flying adventures in my Citabria, work around the farm with animals, hiking , hunting, fishing, Snow sking, Adventure bike trips, and the occasional life lesson from experience. this is a channel where I share what ever I end up doing. some other channels refer to their life as "surviving retirement." maybe I should title the experience's that will be shared here " how to escape the onset of boredom caused be aging" or "How to feel alive after retirement". I have learned that getting youtube to understand who will like my content has been confusion for the Algorithm. I believe there are a large number of "baby Boomers" who are not able to for some reason to enjoy what they once did, who will soak in what they see here . If you’ve ever wondered what life can still look like after 70, you’re in the right place. Windsurfing at 71 is possible. I decided to pick up windsurfing after 35 years to see if I still had it. This video documents my journey of getting back on the water. It is for anyone wondering if it is too late to restart an old hobby or try something new later in life. I share how I found my gear on Marketplace and the reality of getting back to windsurfing at 71. Returning to windsurfing after 35 years comes with challenges, but the experience is worth the effort.
