Modelling Realistic Trees
Just a video on how I’ve made the trees for my layout today. For me, this method works out the cheapest whilst still making trees that look realistic and to the correct scale. I think a lot of modellers vastly underestimate just how large trees are in the real world! One £3 ole of wire makes 20-30 large tree armatures. These can be enhanced by adding texture to the wire trunks with clay, although to be honest this is hardly visible when the trees are in situ. As always, thanks for watching.
