San Luis Soyatlán, Pueblos de México
San Luis Soyatlán is a small town with a long history. It belongs to the municipality of Tuxcueca, and is located on the southern shore of Lake Chapala, approximately an hour south of Guadalajara. It was founded by the Chichimecas, conquered by the Tarascos, and then by the Spanish. It's annual fair is between August 11 and 19. It's 9 guilds organize the festivities, with one day for each, with different colors, pilgrimages, football games and many activities.
