She disguises herself as a man to better follow her 'frivolous' husband when she sees him sitting on a terrace with another woman (the relationship of an old friend of Patouillard). Patouillard gets into a car together with the unknown woman. The wife of Patouillard can just grab the car and she is dragged away. When Patouillard gets out of the car, he recognizes his wife and a wild chase starts. "After such gymnastics she has earned the kiss of peace, which Patrouillard generously gives her, as a sign of forgiveness."
