Two Weeks After Surgery: Setbacks, Doubts, and Learning Patience

Week two after my pituitary surgery to treat Acromegaly has been more challenging than I expected. One of my major symptoms returned, and it triggered anxiety and fear that maybe the surgery didn’t fix the issue. But recovery from a pituitary tumor isn’t instant—especially when hormones are involved. It takes time for the body to adjust, for hormone levels to stabilize, and for healing to truly begin.
