When God Asks You to Reveal the Hidden Things (What I’m Learning)

The fact that God has me sharing my testimony of betrayal recovery WHILE my husband is yet to be humbled and restored… I couldn’t have written a better plot myself. I certainly didn’t choose this. This journey is forcing me to walk a tight rope of humility and boldness. To discern my own motives carefully into remind myself of what God said, repent when I make a misstep, and listen closely to what He guides me to do next. To discern whose advice and response I can receive, and who is speaking from a different spirit. A few days ago I spent time recommitting my surrender to God for this channel - whether that involves talking about something controversial / uncomfortable, or I receiving correction and cast out the wrong spirit that’s influencing me. (It’s been a lot of both this season!) I suspect this is one way that He’s exposing what’s hidden in my husband and myself, so He can heal and mature both of us. I just didn’t expect to hear from my husband’s ex. That was a delightful surprise and a moment of redemption that I never saw coming.
