The Pawn Stars Visit O Museum
#pawnstars #auction #celebrity Corey and Chumlee from the hit History Channel TV show, Pawn Stars, come to DC and explore everything the mansion has to offer. Guided by Museum president, Ted Spero, they'll see plenty of secret doors and many more interesting objects. O Museum in the Mansion, located at 2020 O Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., is a nonprofit organization that celebrates the works of people who have devoted themselves to bettering the lives of others. Our mission is to empower people to do what they love — dare to be different — and have fun. We inspire creativity, diversity, and imagination through the fusion of the arts, science, and sports. Opened in 1980, the O Museum has hosted 1.5 million visitors at its Dupont Circle location. Its signature “Artists and Heroes in Residence” program has honored and hosted various people, including civil rights icon, Mrs. Rosa Parks, who spent a decade in DC using the facility as her home base. Every year for the past 40+ years, the O Street Mansion has provided, on average, over 1,000 free room nights a year via the Artist & Heroes Programs. The O Street Museum provides a haven for soldiers, service people, first responders, and all those who are giving of themselves to serve others. The Museum is instrumental in the new “51 Steps to Freedom” Trail. This program combines history, art, and culture to connect prominent Civil Rights sites from The African American Heritage Trail (and other historical, religious, and cultural places) to tell the story of Washington, DC’s — and America’s — journey since 1791 for equality and representation. • Historic Site on The African American Heritage Trail • “The Coolest Place in DC” by booking.com • Top Seven Hotels in D.C. — Forbes Magazine • #1 for meetings & events in the world — event mb • Top 5 historic venues to explore in the world— smithsonian Visit the Mansion on O Street online: http://omansion.com The O Street Museum Foundation: http://www.omuseum.org Like us on Facebook: / omansion Follow us on Instagram: / omansion Follow us on Twitter: / omansion
