This turned out to be one of the most unforgettable wildlife experiences we’ve ever had in South Africa. What started as a normal morning safari quickly became something extraordinary as we tracked a wild cheetah on foot through the African bush. Getting within metres of one of Africa’s most iconic predators was both exhilarating and humbling, and it’s an experience we’ll never forget. During our stay at Mabula Game Reserve with WildEarth, we were incredibly fortunate to witness some of Africa’s most elusive wildlife, including the rarely seen aardwolf and brown hyena. We also took to the skies on a breathtaking sunrise hot air balloon safari, participated in a hands-on rhino conservation experience, and enjoyed countless incredible wildlife encounters along the way.
