The Fossils of Shropshire
A geology talk for CPRE Shropshire by Sally Green on 26 March 2026 Due to its varied geology, Shropshire is particularly rich in fossils. In this online talk, Sally Green, CPRE Shropshire’s Geology Lead, takes a journey through time, looking at the evolution of selected species including graptolites, brachiopods and trilobites showing how these species - both marine and terrestrial - changed through time, and how this is borne out in the county’s fossil record. This is the sixth of Sally’s online geology talks. Check out the others our YouTube channel.
