La daurade royale face au changement climatique | Reportage CNRS

Faced with rising temperatures, scientists are questioning the tolerance threshold of coastal fish to climate extremes. Teams from the CNRS and IFREMER have studied the case of the gilthead sea bream in the Mediterranean with the aim of predicting the future presence of this iconic species in the lagoons around the Mediterranean. Their studies combine both movement ecology with a system of acoustic transmitters attached to wild fish, as well as captive studies to precisely determine the impact of temperatures on the physiology of sea bream. #CNRSocean 🌊 __________________ 🔔 Subscribe to the CNRS channel: https://bit.ly/CNRSsurYT Follow us on social media!
