Founder of Kokushijuku During his university years, he studied under two professors: Teruo Nishi, visiting professor at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, who was the first person in the world to unravel the nature of America's postwar policy toward Japan in the basement of the U.S. National Library on the day that classified documents were made public, and international political scientist Takeyoshi Fujii. At age 20, he built connections with politicians and commentators and participated in a campaign to invite former Taiwanese President Lee Teng-hui to Japan (though the visit never materialized due to interference from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the time). After graduating from university, he became a former professional musician, leading a Tokyo-based rock band that performed nearly 120 shows nationwide annually. As the band's leader and vocalist, he was featured in numerous TV, radio, and magazine appearances, and performed as the opening act for a major American artist's Japan tour. He performed on stage over 500 times and made his major debut. However, after his father fell ill, he gave up his musical career and returned to Nagoya, where he found employment at a private company. In 2010, he discovered coaching and Adlerian psychology, discovered his life's mission, and resolved to spend the rest of his life devoted to bringing happiness to others. In 2011, a few days after the Great East Japan Earthquake, he resigned from his company and traveled to Miyagi and Fukushima, commuting back and forth between the two cities to volunteer in reconstruction efforts for several years. That same year, he passed the International Coach Association Certified Professional Coach Training Instructor exam just 11 months after enrolling in coaching school (the fastest in history). Currently, while serving as the representative of multiple companies and organizations, he gives over 340 lectures and training sessions annually on human resource development, management, leadership, customer satisfaction, sales acquisition, and speeches and presentations.
