Cicloviaggio: le paure, i miti e la realtà. Ep 10
Is a bike trip really reserved for super athletes, tireless young people, or fearless daredevils? In this episode of the Bike Café, I try to dispel some of the most common myths about cycle touring: age, training, danger, expensive equipment, fear of the unexpected, and the classic phrase, "I'd like to... but..." Starting from a 2004 encounter in Alaska with a couple of cyclists in their seventies, I reflect on how bike travel is much more accessible than we often imagine. Because bike travel isn't about being a hero. It simply means setting off.
