Detection and extraction of fingerprints, traces of biological origin, search and fixation of objects that can become physical evidence in criminal proceedings - now forensic scientists can not only collect all this qualitatively, but also quickly examine it directly at the scene of the crime. Such capabilities have appeared thanks to the new mobile forensic laboratory. The technical equipment of the complex allows forensic scientists to work quickly and effectively in any weather conditions and at any time of day. The laboratory allows for a detailed examination of the scene, detection, recording and removal of even subtle traces - biological, trace and fingerprint. In addition, specialists can perform priority express examinations of physical evidence in the field. The laboratory also has special packaging materials for the safe transportation of evidence, autonomous lighting, photo and video recording equipment, as well as equipment that meets modern European standards. This allows forensic scientists to work as quickly and efficiently as possible, which significantly increases the efficiency of investigating criminal offenses. Forensic scientists of the Mukachevo District Police Department are already starting work on a new specialized transport. Thanks to the mobility and autonomy of the laboratory complex, law enforcement officers will be able to significantly reduce the time for collecting, recording and studying the evidence base. And this means faster establishment of the circumstances of the crime, more effective documentation of evidence and, ultimately, more efficient disclosure of criminal offenses.
