We’ve Dug Thousands of Old Coins But THIS ONE Might be the Rarest!

Last week we were metal detecting a new virgin-ground colonial field that was just loaded with history! We dug 5–6 large copper coins, a two-cent piece, V-Nickel, old buttons, early relics, and even two Spanish silver reales, both from the mid-1700s! Well this week we return to cover even more of this untouched ground, and somehow the finds got even better! Almost a dozen large coppers came out of the soil, along with incredible old buttons, tokens, and relics from the earliest days of America. But then the impossible happened! We found a coin that absolutely stole the show! A coin so scarce that it might be one of the rarest coins we’ve ever found.
