PPZ production presents in Prominent Artist Program: Anja Bukovec in Gallus Hall recital. Hameum Suite by Serbian Composer Božidar "Boki" Milošević. On piano: Igor Vićentić. I made this intimate music portrait of Anja Bukovec, one of the most prominent European violin artists. Anja performs Hameum Suite by Serbian Composer Božidar "Boki" Milošević. Božidar "Boki" Milošević (Serbian Cyrillic: Божидар "Боки" Милошевић; 31 December 1931 – 15 April 2018) was a Serbian clarinetist. Milošević was born in Prokuplje, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, now Serbia. He completed undergraduate and graduate studies of classical music at the Academy of Music in Belgrade, where he studied with Bruno Brun. He mostly played folk music. He was a member of the Association of Musical Artists of Serbia and was the second clarinetist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra. She is asuperb musician and popular media personality with a unique quality that propels her to the top of the contemporary progressive young artists, with a recognizable style, unique interpretation, and communication with the audience. She had been raising the figure of cultural ambassador by studying in Ljubljana, Prague, Cologne, and Vienna. She performs as a soloist in different genres and fascinates audiences all over the world. Her records, Gemini, Follow and Chameleon have appeared on the top of the popular charts and are best sellers among the Slovenian classical records. Anja has been collaborating with respectable musical personalities, such as Igor Ozim, Janez Maticic, En Shao, Alan Buribayev, Timothy Redmond, Uros Lajovic, Marko Letonja, Anton Nanut, Boris Cavazza, multiple BAFTA award-winner Christopher Gunning and top pop/rock artists such as Die Fantastichen 4, Marla Glen, Marque, Jeff Healey. She regularly collaborates with important Slovenian cultural personalities, actors and musicians from a broad cultural specter. She is a recipient of the» Important works of Art« award, the highest artistic title given by the University of Ljubljana. She is currently Assist.
