Bikepacking from Eindhoven (Netherlands) to Vienna (Austria) and back on a Trek Powerfly 7 e-mountain bike and an Apex Onyx gravel bike. We use a three-person tent MSR freeline and cycle from campsite to campsite. Occasionally we spend the night in a hotel. The route goes straight over and through a few German low mountain ranges (including the Sauerland and the Bavarian Forest) and follows part of the Danube Cycle Route. On the way back, a small section on the Main cycle route. The length of the trip is 2725 km (1693 miles) with 33786 meters of elevation gain (110846 feet). We visit the cities of Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Melk, Passau, Sankt Polten, Winterberg, Sesslach and Vienna.
