How to enter a Set Point on the F4T Touch Screen Controller: TestEquity Chambers

On models that show two process parameters at once, like temperature and humidity, the Set Point area will be labeled “SP”. The Set Point screen will display a numeric keypad. You can enter the desired value using the numeric keys. You can also increment the set point by the least significant digit by pressing the Up or Down arrow keys, but this will take a longer time if you want to make big changes. If you make a mistake, you can press Backspace (Bksp) to delete a character at a time, or press Clear to delete it all. To go back to the home page without making a change, press Cancel. To enter the new Set Point, press Enter. You will see the new Set Point on the Home Screen. Of course, the chamber needs to be ON to reach the desired condition. On most models, there is a 3-position rocker switch with an ON, OFF, and EVENT 1 position. In the EVENT 1 position you can turn chamber’s conditioning system ON/OFF using the F4T’s Power button. This position is useful when you need to turn the chamber OFF at the end of a profile or via computer control. In the ON position, the chamber will be ON regardless of the Power button’s state. This switch was implemented on older designs which can use the legacy F4 controller because it would otherwise take about 6 keystrokes on the older controller to turn the chamber ON/OFF. This rocker switch is labeled TEMP on Models 106 and 107 and CONDITIONING on all other models. On Models 101H and 155, you would simply press the Power button on the F4T to turn the chamber’s conditioning systems ON or OFF. So now you know how to enter a Set Point and how turn the chamber ON.
