Martin Laforêt discusses his work in preparation for his debut solo show 'Inside Out', which is on view at Carpenters Workshop Gallery London from January 30th to March 30th, 2020. After featuring in Carpenters Workshop Gallery's 'Graduate Show' in 2017, featuring 12 artists selected by Lidewij Eldekoort, frequent collaborator of the gallery, Martin signed on as one of Carpenters' "NextGen" artists. Over the following 3 years, Laforêt has further developed the concept of his 'Mould Chair', in which one can see both the positive and the negative of the same shape utilised within the work, to a whole collection.
