I did Tai Chi for 28 years. Here's what I noticed

I imagine I wasn't that great at it. While my Tai Chi practice has been off and on through the years, I have been exposed to a lot of it. I'm still hesitant to comment on it, because I don't feel like I know the current discussions on it. Like is there are hot debate about the "grasp the sparrow's tail move?" Maybe. Who knows. Maybe the debate is only in Mandarin too. However, I have noticed a key mental benefit that can help some people. Learning to stay present in the moment can help reduce stress and help us focus. This gives us clarity and can improve focus. That way we can work on stuff we know we need to do - perhaps even exercise!
