Moone, Co. Kildare, is home to one of Ireland’s High Crosses, carved out of granite in the 10th century. Like many High Crosses, it’s covered in representations of biblical scenes. They’re not randomly chosen; they are stories of redemption, adorning and interpreting the great Christian symbol of redemption, the Cross of Christ.
