Welcome to the 2005 Daytona 500! After an early wreck at the beginning of stage 1, Jimmie Johnson won the first stage, and at the beginning of stage 2 everyone at the front went four wide wiping out nearly half of the field, and then it was strategic racing after that. Everything came down to lap traffic at the end with an upset winner due to everything that happened during the race.
