The aim of this video is to conceptualize the Overall Economic Table (OET) produced by national accounts. We will therefore begin with a simplified economic model that includes only corporations and households. This will allow us to define the main macroeconomic equations of national accounts. Given the dominant role of corporations in our economies, we will determine a macroeconomic formula for corporate profit that will allow us to understand what is favorable or unfavorable to them.
