We do not focus on technical characteristics, but share subjective impressions of shooting and ergonomics. Models reviewed: Soviet classics: PM (Makarov Pistol): "Old school", but the shooting results were disappointing (low accuracy). APS (Stechkin Automatic Pistol): Heavy, has a long trigger, but quite accurate. More suitable for home use than for concealed carry. Ukrainian manufacturer (Fort): Fort-14 TP: Good impressions. Fort-17 (and 17R - traumatic): We discussed the possibility of using a "rubber band" for training and getting used to the weapon before buying a combat one. Fort-20 (chambered for 9x19): One of the favorites due to balance, accuracy and support from a domestic manufacturer. Global brands: Glock 17: Austrian classic, which is satisfied with its reliability (even without thorough cleaning). Sig Sauer P320: Very soft trigger and high accuracy, but large size for concealed carry. CZ Shadow 2: Sporting pistol with a collimator. The best results (10 out of 10) and minimal recoil due to weight.
