THE LAST DAYS OF SUMMER IN THE ENGLISH COUNTRYSIDE - A Trip To Kent

In this week's episode we pay a visit to the medieval harbour town of Rye, a place we absolutely adore, staying at a wonderfully renovated townhouse that dates back 700 years. On the drive down we stop off at Ightham Mote, a fantastic moated manor house dating to at least the 1300's and as we leave to drive home we stop off at Scotney Castle which is another medieval house dating to the 1300's that has been purposely destroyed and turned into a garden feature.
