Hiking Jabal Al-Nour to see Hira Cave

Gua Hira (Cave of Hira) is a small cave located on the summit of Jabal al-Nour (Mountain of Light), near Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is significant in Islam as the place where the Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation of the Quran from the angel Gabriel. Location: Situated about 4 kilometers from the Kaaba, the cave is at the top of Jabal al-Nour, a mountain that requires a hike to reach. Significance: Muslims believe the Prophet Muhammad would retreat to this cave for meditation and reflection. It is where he received the first verses of the Quran in 610 CE.
