Alaska in May. Enjoy the sights, sounds and history of Kenai Peninsula and Denali!

May is a magical month for exploring Alaska. By the middle of the month, you will enjoy 17 hours of daylight with the temperature in the mid 60-s. In the mountains, however, winter does not give up so easily, there is still enough snow to make happy the downhill skiers. May is considered to be the early season for tourists, but the Wildlife Centers as well as numerous sled dog kennels are open and welcoming their visitors. It is the right time to take a boat tour to see Glaciers and whales feeding.
