Welcome to Citizen Notes. In this video, I'll share the story of the Queronque Tragedy, the worst train accident in Chilean history. It occurred in 1986 between the Limache and Peñablanca stations in the Valparaíso region. As a result of a series of events, two railcars collided head-on at over 80 kilometers per hour. They were Aes 9 and Aes 16, leaving more than 50 dead and nearly 500 injured.
