24 Hours in Dubai - CREW EDITION! Hi everyone, This time I was off (again) to Dubai, a city that, like New York, never sleeps. For me as a flight attendant, there was a tiny highlight on this rotation, because I was allowed to take off from Berlin Airport (BER)! Yay! So no half-road trip to Frankfurt this time! 😅 📅 My itinerary: 🛫 Departure: September 5, 2025 (Check-in 4:00 PM LT BER) Departure at 5:15 PM LT ➡️ Outbound flight: approx. 5 hrs 50 mins ⬅️ Return flight: approx. 6 hrs 10 mins 🛬 Landing in Berlin: September 6, 2025 at 8:30 AM ✨ My layover in Dubai: After landing around 1:30 AM local time, the first thing I did was head to the hotel! The city never sleeps, but I definitely need my beauty sleep. 😴 The next day, I went for a short walk. Breakfast was delicious, but at €20 for a sandwich and two coffees, it was a bit pricey.😅 Of course, I couldn't resist and quickly popped into the Dubai Mall to shop for Christmas candles! It had to be done. After that, it was time for a power nap, packing my suitcase, and back into the air.✈️ My highlight of the return flight? I got to see the sunrise and moonset at the same time, which was so beautiful!✈️ 🌍 Fun fact about Dubai: Did you know that there are ATMs in Dubai where you can cash out gold bars? 😅 So, practically not ATMs, but gold ATMs😅 I've been to Dubai many times, but I've actually never seen it! 🎥 Crew life up close: Once again, I'm taking you behind the scenes of my job as a flight attendant, from departure from BER, through the night flight, to the layover in the middle of a desert state. ✨ I've been in aviation for over 14 years and share my stories, insights, and a few honest crew moments here.
