The Municipality of Bologna, La Casa Italiana, and Scambieuropei organized and promoted a trip to Lomé, Togo, aimed at providing participants with an up-close experience with Togolese young people, allowing them to discover their country through their eyes, their stories, and their lives. La Casa Italiana is a Center based in Lomé, the capital of Togo, which trains young Togolese people in the Italian language and supports them through all the procedures necessary to continue their university studies in Italy. La Casa Italiana is also a place open to all who wish to learn about, approach, deepen, and experience Italian culture in Togo in a dynamic, fun, and welcoming way, and, more generally, a place for cultural exchange. During these ten days, the young people participated in Italian language courses, workshops, and laboratories organized by the Center, and also had the opportunity to visit iconic sites in and around Lomé, where young Togolese from La Casa Italiana acted as guides for the Italian group.
