O futebol arrancado das elites pelo povo | Parte 1/3: 1863–1958
Brazilian football wasn't born as a ready-made national passion. It began as a practice controlled by the elites, but was wrested from their hands by the people, by the workers, by Black people, by mixed-race people, by popular clubs, by the informal football fields, and by the streets. In this first part of the interview, Alexandre Machado Rosa analyzes the historical formation of modern football and its arrival in Brazil. A professor at IFSP, with a doctorate in Public Health from Unicamp, a researcher of sport and society, and author of studies on football, culture, and public policy, Alexandre shows how football became a field of social, racial, cultural, and political dispute. 📌 Like, comment, share, and subscribe to the channel. 🌟 It's time to boost your timeline with thought-provoking content! 🌟 If you enjoy critical reflection, sharp analysis, quality debates, and want to be part of building a sovereign and popular project for Brazil, then the Maurício Grabois Foundation is the place for you! 📲 We're on all social media platforms — and waiting for you there! 💻 Grabois Portal: analyses, columns, articles, and news that don't sugarcoat anything → https://grabois.org.br/ 📘 Facebook: ideas that endure and renew themselves → facebook.com/portalgrabois 📸 Instagram: cards, reels, behind-the-scenes content, and lots of history → @fundacaograbois ✈️ Telegram: content directly to your phone, without algorithms → t.me/grabois 🐦 Twitter/X: real-time analyses → @Graboisorg 🎵 TikTok: information with rhythm and creativity → @fundacaograbois 📩 And we also have our newsletter!
