Ep. 5 Butterfly Junk Journal Series - LIVE #craftwithme - Embellished Paper Clips, Tabs & More

Welcome to Episode 5 of the Butterfly Junk Journal Series! Today's creative session is all about the little details that you can add to your junk journal pages, to make them extra special. We will be making two different styles of embellished and hidden paperclips, a butterfly garland and adding laces and trims to our page edges. I will also share some of my favorite ways to make quick and interesting page tabs. Over the course of this Junk Journal Series and butterfly themed adventure, I will take you step by step through the process of constructing a junk journal out of an upcycled book, how to make a rounded soft style spine, how to choose signature pages and how to sew them into place with a 3 hole pamphlet stitch. We will also touch on different pocket styles and tuck spots that we can fill with beautiful hand made ephemera, journaling tags and cards. To complete our journal, we will be making a beautiful spine dangle made from vintage findings.
