Chasing the Sunset | 2025 NC750X DCT | Fagaras to Vestem Roundabout

On my second day with the 2025 Honda NC750X DCT, I decided to go on my first trip out of town during the break-in period. Vestem is 67 km away from Fagaras, and it took me roughly one hour to get there. Starting late in the afternoon meant literally riding into the sunset. By the time I reached my destination, it was almost dark. On the way there, I ran into an official convoy, which meant no overtaking allowed. Consequently, a significant portion of the trip was spent at a slow, controlled pace. Although I had two opportunities to leave the main road and get ahead of the convoy via backroads, as a beginner I decided to stay on the main route to avoid potentially dangerous twisties.
