The adventure gets even crazier! 🏔️🚗 Welcome to Episode 2 of our Spiti Circuit 2026 road trip series. After spending the night in Narkanda, we continue our journey towards Chitkul, famously known as India's Last Village. What looked like another scenic drive quickly turned into one of the most unforgettable days of the entire expedition. As we entered the breathtaking Kinnaur Valley, the lush green mountains slowly transformed into massive rocky cliffs and dramatic landscapes along the legendary Indo-Tibet Highway. Every turn revealed a view more beautiful than the last. But not everything went according to plan... While filming cinematic drone shots at the Gateway of Kinnaur, I almost lost my drone forever. What happened next had my heart racing. After crossing the Karcham Dam, the roads became unbelievably rough. A journey of just 40 kilometres took nearly 3 hours as we carefully navigated broken roads, cliff-edge tracks and one of the toughest drives of the trip. Late at night, around 10 PM, we finally reached Chitkul only to discover that every restaurant had already closed. With no food available, we ended the day sitting outside our homestay under the cold mountain sky, cooking Maggi and coffee at 11 PM—a moment we'll never forget.
