RWENZURU MINISTER LAID TO REST AT ANCESTRAL HOME IN MPUNGA

Finally, the Rwenzururu Kingdom Minister of Culture, Hon. Lodrick Kibaba Kahangiru, has been laid to rest on his ancestral land in Mpunga. Words from the Royal Cabinet Minister of Culture, Hon. Katy Aganatia, described the deceased as a hardworking person. She said the kingdom has lost an important person who loved the kingdom and was his deputy in the ministry. Rwenzururu Youth Minister, Baluku Hosea, said the youth are now hopeless because the generation knows nothing about the kingdom, and the one who was supposed to guide them is gone. He prayed that God protects the Rwenzururu Kingdom. Baluku John, Minister Without Portfolio, said as a kingdom they have lost a knowledgeable man. On the side of government, the Local Council III Chairman said the sub-county and county have lost a future leader because they had planned for him to represent them in the Parliament of Uganda. The Kingdom Spokesman, Hon. Kanyonyi Geoffrey, confirmed that the King of Rwenzururu Kingdom is mourning with the family of Kahangiru Kibaba. He said he was loyal to the kingdom and was a teacher of cultural matters. He noted that Kibaba started cultural work even in his will, as he requested to be buried in the soil of his ancestors. Residents are happy because government has decided to grade the road leading to Mpunga, which they have waited for 10 years. According to Kibenzu Nicholas, the grading has been done on a road that was in a sorry state. Staff of Rwenzori Wings said they will not get another parent like Kibaba Lodrick because the school’s progress was due to his humility. Hon.
