Back Country Ship Harbour Long Lake Part One
Nova Scotia Wilderness, now in 4K! Join Johnny, Dave, Specka and I for a 3 day adventure in the Ship Harbour Long Lake Wilderness area. This is the first time for me and the channel… I was pleasantly surprised. Lots to explore, so much so that I think this will have to be a 3 part series. This episode covers the trek into Moose Cove Lake and 3 of the designated campsites. Johnny said we needed to make less food this trip, but based on the supper he made, he lied to us. There was a fire ban on for the first night and morning so we had to cook creatively. I didn't have my dogs this time so I brought the trusty Warbonnet Blackbird XLC.. and I slept like a rock both nights. I attribute it more to not worrying if my dogs were ok in the night, but it also is very comfy. Episode two will cover our completion of the Skull Lake Loop.
