Making Your Faces Come Alive
I am so excited to share with you my tips and tricks on making faces come alive in your mixed media art projects. This video follows on from my last tips and tricks on using reference pictures - do take a look at this if you haven't already. I will show you how I add darker tones and then take them away to create that wonderful grungy feel. Then we look back at the reference picture to bring in the light tones and highlights. In this video I will also share with you how it is important to let go and not be afraid of that "ugly" stage where it just doesn't feel right. You will see, as I progress, adding and removing the paint, the face starts to take shape and really come alive. I do hope you find this useful and are inspired to give it a go. Remember to join my open online art community and share your work. / 542135896491228 Happy creating :-) ******* Want more videos like this?
